well i am still messing with this blog and i added a  list of the blogs i visit so that you can visit them too and see
some of the artists that inspire me, the only thing is you have to scroll to the very bottom of the page to see the list. that's okay  right? so far there is only a few but its getting late and Lord knows i need my beauty sleep lol! so i will give this another shot real soon good night and hugs to you all c

hard working girls

now these pictures are of my daughter Jaime and her new friend Kelly. you have seen them both before on my blog Kelly sits by me at work. She is great and Jaime and i both are crazy about her, great fun to hang out with.
so they decided to make some Christmas gifts and the have been diligently working in the craft room and doing a super job. i will post pictures of what they are making after Christmas, don't want the wrong person to see this and ruin the surprise, it's been great having them both here and i cant wait till we get together again!

mini album

well i am back, had some lunch and am ready to tackle posting my second mini album. I made this album for a
sweet, dear friend who just had a baby girl. got to see them both a few days ago and they are both doing great

both mother and daughter are as beautiful as anything you could ever want to see. hope you enjoy the pics as much as i enjoyed making this mini, i cant wait to see it with pictures in it! hugs c

Hellooooooooo, i am still here and still trying to get all of you caught up. My latest love is mini albums, i have only made 2 of them but it is really addicting. so less blah blah blah and on with the pics first up my very first mini album inspired by a video i watched on Ustream done by drew scott of www.scrappyhappiness.com

well that was rude, my computer decided to have a major malfunction right in the middle of my post so now i will try to show you the picture of my youngest stamper and my lovely daughter. They both worked very hard at class.

Couldn't do it with out you babe, nor would i want to. I think it looks like every one was working hard, or being silly and that's what stamp class is all about right? snacks and silliness... next i have a picture of my youngest stamper. A very special shout out to Shelby, thanks for coming to class i truly enjoy you being there. Ms. Shelby is 9 years old and she stamps like a pro! a special thanks to her mom for bringing her Thank you Michele!!!!

Christmas in July

On July 30th we had a Christmas in July class, it took place in the hobby lobby classroom in Pekin. We had sub sandwiches provided by Pam and Kelley and Jaime made her famous "better than sex" cake, and all the girls brought yummy snacks and isn't that what stamp class is all about?! here are the pictures of the cards we made.

bugs

hi everyone, got a new picture to show you. I made this picture for my new friend Kelly. She is a sweetie!!! She is the new girl at work and she sits right behind me. Last week we were discussing her new apartment and how she wanted to paint the walls and decorate a little. During our conversations i showed her my blog and she saw the Egyptian picture that i had posted, she knew right off that the bugs were scarab beetles....OMG she is the first person that actually got what they were, almost everyone thought they were cockroaches..yuck! why would i paint something with roaches on it. Well needless to say i was very impressed so i made a picture for her to put in her room, which goes with the purple in her bedspread. so here is a pic of Kelly and the picture. Sorry about the glare, i forgot to photograph it while it was at home so i had to take the picture at work and its hard to get any thing with out the glare of all the flourescent lights. well i want to show you some other things i made a little while ago. i hope the pictures aren't too blurry. i am experimenting with mixed media and the use of shimmer sprays, like tattered angels and luminarte sprays. i have been trying the Tim Holtz mini misters with a mixture of perfect pearls and water also. that is the mixture that i used on the roses. faded jeans, scattered straw, bundled sage and chipped sapphire are the colors i used from the Tim Holtz distress ink line. can you tell i am a bit of a tim holtz fan. check out his blog some time and his utube videos are fabulous. i also want to share a blog that i have just recently found called scrappyhappiness the author is a young man around 16 years old who makes fabulous mini albums. his name on u tube is cardofmyeye

Hello out there. i have finally gotten a picture of something to post for you. i have made some grunge paper roses for a friend and i think they came out pretty good. i used a mixture of instructions from u tube and from tammy te\utterow's blog. let me know what you think i would love to get some comments. thanks for visiting!
